Treatment of spruce in Koper / Slovenia
In December 2024 we have successfully installed our first AST Tank in Koper port - Slovenia.
In this new facility we will treat all our wood with AST (anti-stain solution ) of the best quality to insure a safe journey for our product in the upcoming long container transportation transit time.
Our service in Koper port :

We gather all the wood in our hub in the yard . wood is sourced from Slovenia , Croatia, Bosnia , Austria and sometimes as fas as Czech where our inspectors and graders make sure only the wood that meets our quality is accepted to be loaded.

The wood then goes into treatment in our tanks containing the highest specs of AST solution that we source from Germany. It is dipped for 10 minutes into the solution to ensure all surfaces have been penetrated and the required protection against fungus and mold achieved.

The treated bundles will be drained and airdried . after that we end paint the bundles with the required color and pout the logo of AMT Holz on all our bundles

Th bundles are then loaded into the containers and sent to the port for reach our customer in over 30 international countries around the globe.
